Sluggy

Sluggy is an enemy in Sugary Spire.

Description

Sluggy appears in Sugarshack Mines. It's a creature made of red cotton, with red tinted eyes along with a cone with a red stripe on its head.

Behavior

Sluggies behave similar to the old behavior of Tribe Cheese from Pizza Tower. They crawl around on the floor and when close to a player, they will do a spin jump. They can hurt the player in this state, but it's possible to kill them while they're jumping.

Trivia

Sluggy originated from the construct era of SS, with a single sprite of him existing, this sprite was used for his idle animation
Sluggy was also originally more unique but also really annoying, because he could only be killed with a parry and any other methods of trying to attack him would result in Sluggy parrying you. This was scrapped for being annoying.
- The art for Cobalt Catastrophe was made when Sluggy was still able to parry you, with the joke being an unstoppable force (The Applejim Express) against an immovable object (Sluggy) now being lost due to the scrapping of it.
