Description
Ice-Pop is an old man who also happens to be floating orange ball of ice cream, complete with a floating cone hat, who is smoking a Cuban cigar. His role in Sugary Spire is to give the player advice and encouragement, though he does slip some nonsense in there as well. He speaks with a wheezy laugh.
Trivia
- Despite the resemblance, Ice-Pop holds no relation to Coneball.
- Ice-Pop made an appearance in an ARG that occurred prior to the website launching, being seen as two different accounts known as ICEE POP#478 and ICEE POP#397.
- In Exhibition Night, Ice-Pop's talk sounds were provided by CarlmanZ.
- According to lead developer Soda, the voice lines were a last minute addition.
- In Exhibition Night, Ice-Pop's father, Grandpa Cone, makes an appearance in the tutorial. His appearance is the same as Ice-Pop, albeit with rimmed glasses and a pencil mustache. His voice lines are the same as Ice-Pop's, just pitched up. He appears outside the tutorial once the player completes it and reenters the room.
- His glasses are actually salted licorice flavoured gumdrop eyes.
- According to developer Lukee, Grandpa Cone was created after Lukee misremembered Ice-Pop's name. Grandpa Cone was featured in tutorial to replace an instance of Ice-Pop in close proximity to another one.
- For Exhibition Night’s tutorial level, the regular Confecti are replaced with Ice-Pop's grandchildren, whom he is annoyed by.
- According to developer Welegi, they were referred to as his nephews for the majority of the development.
